Karnataka Government has amended the Labour Welfare Fund Act to increase the ratio of contribution payable to the Labour welfare board from the existing ratio of Rs. 6 (Employee share), Rs. 12 (Employer share) & Rs. 6 (Government share) to Rs. 20 (Employee Share), Rs.40 (Employer share) & Rs.20 (Government share) respectively.
