Employers Need Not Submit Annual Return Under Payment Of Bonus Rules

As per recent notification issued by Ministry of Labour and they have amended the Payment of Bonus Rule and omitted the section 5, it means there is no need of filing the Annual Return under Payment of Bonus Rule.

Section 5 of the Payment of Bonus Rule 1975.

5. Annual returns. – Every employer shall send a return in Form D to the Inspector so as to reach him within 30 days after the expiry of the time limit specified in section 19 for payment of bonus.}
